Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Job description

We are a four-star resort located in a unique area at the heart of the Island within the beautiful landscapes of “Wied Għollieqa” Nature Reserve. Currently, we are seeking for a full time Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team.

Key responsibilities:

Handling stock limits and orders for F&B outlets, and organising storage spaces in line with FIFO procedures

Manage F&B roster on a weekly basis in line with the resort’s occupancy levels and banqueting events

Implementing and record-keeping of HACCP checklists, cleaning schedules and general F&B procedures

Managing the smooth running of F&B outlets and banqueting operation

Address the needs of the team including training, development, and performance

Deliver a high level of customer service and communication with guests to receive feedback

Handle any guest complaints diligently and rectify any negative experiences

Ensure standards and systems in place are known and followed by all team members

Flexible to respond to a range of varying work situations

Confident in the use of POS systems

Any additional ad-hoc duties requested by your superior
